Time is running out for college students to apply for 2026 summer internships.

Some students may be overlooking a major opportunity: landing an internship that incorporates AI into day-to-day work, even when the role itself isn’t AI-focused.

Online job site Indeed recently released a list of top internship roles that use AI but don’t necessarily require a fancy AI degree.

Below is a breakdown of how much AI will be involved in these types of roles. There are hundreds of positions, so check out the full list here.
